Nigel Worthington is making moves to strengthen his forward line, possibly in preparation for life without Dean Ashton, according to the Daily Mirror.
Sunderland striker Andy Gray, signed for £1.1million from Sheffield United in the summer, is said to have been the subject of a £400,000 bid from the Canaries boss.
Gray, who began his career at Leeds, has a single cap for Scotland. The 28-year-old has scored only once for his new club as they have amassed a paltry six points so far in their Premiership campaign.
