Huckerby celebrates Scoring against Stoke.
“I'm desperate for a goal at the moment, I couldn't buy a goal,” he said. “But as long as I'm creating chances and causing defences problems I'm happy. I do need a goal, though, so hopefully it will come as soon as possible.
“I just need one. I've had chances and I am creating for others, but it doesn't seem to be falling for me. But it will do, these things happen to forwards and you have to keep going.”
As Huckerby said, he is creating chances and I think most fans would agree he deserves another goal for his efforts. Although by his own admission he was not at his best on Saturady against Preston.
“Personally I didn't think I had the best of games, but these things happen from time to time. It didn't seem to be falling for us up front,” he said.
“But it was a very good performance to take us up to second."
Huckerby and Norwich will be looking to make Carrow Road a fortress again tommorow night when they entertain Gary McCallister's Coventry City.
