Havign raided one of his former clubs, Necastle United, for Matty Pattison last week, new Canaries boss Glenn Roeder is now lining up a swoop for West Ham midfielder Nigel Quashie.
Quashie, who is back to fitness following a long injury lay-off, has fallen down the pecking order at Upton Park following the summer recruitment of the likes of Kieron Dyer, Scott Parker, Freddie Ljungberg and Nolberto Solano. He began his career at QPR and has also played for Nottingham Forest, Southampton, Portsmouth and West Brom.
Quashie, who has been limited to just eight appearances as a Hammer, has 14 caps for Scotland.
