Sheffield United, fresh from agreeing to the sale of James Beattie to Stoke City, have announced that they have agreed a fee with Leroy Lita, although have yet to finalise terms with the player.
The fee agreed with reading, for whom Lita has featured in the last two matches, scoring against Watford, following his loan spell at Norwich, is said to be 'seven figures'.
Lita had been touted as a potential cut-price target for the likes of Everton adn Newcastle, which may explain why he and his agent have yet to agree a deal to join Kevin Blackwell's Blades.
