Peter Grant's summer striker collection looks like it could increase further after Norwich were linked with a move for Leicester striker Matt Fryatt.
Fryatt, 21, was a prolific scorer for Walsall before joining the Foxes 18 months ago. He has scored 10 times since moving to the Walkers Stadium, but remains highly rated. Martin Allen has signed Carl Cort and DJ Campbell among a massive summer spending spree financed by Milan Mandaric's takeover, and Fryatt could be surplus to requirements.
The Mirror reports this morning that Norwich and Watford are facing off with £1.5million bids, and that Wolverhampton Wanderers had a £900,000 bid turned down earleir in the summer.
Quite where Fryatt would fit in for the Canaries, who have added David Strihavka and Jamie Cureton already, is uncertain.
