Nigel Worthington is set for another bash at bringing former Crewe Alexandra frontman Rob Hulse to Carrow Road.
Hulse, 26, chose to join West Bromwich Albion in 2003 when Norwich originally went in search of his services. He has since moved on to Leeds United, but with Kevin Blackwell possessing a wealth of forward talent he might consider a move.
Hulse fits the bill of the physically big striker Worthington is looking for to join the diminutive Robert Earnshaw in trying to fire the Canaries back into the Premiership, and the City boss admits he is making moves to instigate a transfer.
"Rob is a player we have enquired about," Worthington told the Eastern Daily Press. "We would like to try and bring him to the club but we have to wait and see at the moment. People are away at the moment and we have to see whether we can agree terms and that type of thing. The are still a lot of questions to be answered on that one."
On the subject of a two Robbie's partnership, Worthington added:
"I like Rob a lot and think he is very good at this level. Linking him with Rob Earnshaw would be a nice pairing if we could make it happen."
