Peter Grant has moved away from scouring Scotland, Eastern Europe and the annals of Norwich City history for new players, and instead bought himself an old copy of Championship Manager.
Following Sammy Lee's lead of bringing latter day Norwegian powerhouse Daniel Braaten to Bolton Wanderers, Grant has been linked with a swoop for former England youth international Cherno Samba.
Samba, 21, joined Plymouth last season having previously been on the books of Millwall and Spanish side Cadiz. As a youngster he was coveted by Manchester United and Liverpool and given an incredible amount of ability by Champ Manager scouts, making him a popular and prolific addition to any squad. He has failed so far to fulfill his potential.
Pilgrims boss Ian Holloway has told the player, who scored once last term, he can leave Home Park for nothing.
