The Guardian's website is reporting that Lee Bowyer may be a target for Norwich City boss Peter Grant, who is seeking to bolster his midfield following the loss of Dickson Etuhu to Sunderland.
Grant, a combative midfielder with a fiery temper in his playing days, would have worked with Bowyer during his West Ham days. Bowyer is still on the books at Upton Park but may find his chances limited by the arrival of Scott Parker in particular.
Bowyer, 30, has one England cap to his name and started 18 Premiership matches last term. He was once the country's most expensive teenager when Leeds paid £2.8million pounds to Charlton Athletic for his services. He also played close to 100 games for Newcastle.
