City to host Barnet in Cup

Peter Grant's Norwich will entertain Paul Fairclough's Barnet in the week of the 13th August after the draw was made for the Carling Cup first round.

The clash is a repeat of the 1997 tie at the same stage, when the Bees upset the Canaries over two legs in a 4-3 reverse. Among the Norwich side in the first leg was Craig Bellamy, while Grant himself featured in the 3-1 reverse at Underhill.
