It has been revealed today that Mr Davey is being investigated by Trading Standards, the Advertising Standards Authority and Citizens Advice Bureau over his business dealings.
I had a feeling he was a bit of a dodgy bloke all along and this goes someway to showing I was right.
Neil Doncaster has revealed that Mr Davey has not even approached Norwich with an offer.
"Norwich City understands from press reports that Mr Colin Davey intends to offer the club £5 million for a place on the club's board.
"No offer has yet been received from Mr Davey. Indeed the club has had no contact from Mr Davey since March. If and when any offer is received, the club will be in a position to consider it and comment upon it."
Despite his claims that he was a die hard Norwich fan, Mr Davey hasn’t been to Carrow Road in four years, and lets face it anyone who threatens to go down the road to invest in Ipswich cannot be a true Norwich fan.
Mr Davey had previously stated to the Evening News that he had made the offer to Norwich, but was also considering investing in Ipswich.
"I am giving them [Norwich] time to consider my offer and waiting to see what they can offer me. I know the board is set in their ways and it is difficult to get a seat on the board.
"But I will be investing heavily in a football club over the next year. I am also going to meet Ipswich this week."
In my opinion all this man wants is to buy some power. Although as it is 5 million pounds I believe the board should investigate whether the offer is genuine and that Colin Dave has the clubs best interests at heart. An offer of 5 million pounds cannot be ignored.
