So the Great Escape could be on. The Canaries have been tunnelling all season, and like the film (surely one of the best ever made) there have been problems encountered and the inevitable (relegation/capture) has almost happened. Tunnels have caved in and some avenues ruled out but finally there is light in the distance.
If last weeks win against Man U was an escape from a firing squad looking to finish things once and for all, then the good news for this weeks trip to Selhurst Park is that the Citizens come equipped with guns of there own.
If they use them the end could be near for their London rivals and the light will move closer.
Norwich must be lethal and as has been said around Carrow Road many times this week must fight for everything (as opposed to amongst each other like their opponents.)
If they fail to find that killer instinct then relgation will become an almost certainty.
David Bentley looks almost certain to start on the right in place of Graham Stuart (the least effective player against the Red Devils) in an otherwise unchanged line up.
And the message for the team is simple.
Win at all costs.
