On-loan Preston midfielder Dickson Etuhu has been cleared of any offence in the spitting row which erupted at the end of last month's victory over Luton Town.
The midfielder, who had been making his debut, was accused of expectorating in the direction of the opposition during a series of clashes which saw two visiting players shown the red card.
The Football Association, who have reviewed video footage of the match, have decided that there was no case to answer, and the matter has been put to rest.
Etuhu will now be free to concentrate on Saturday's visit to Crewe Alexandra, which represents and excellent opportunity for the Canaries to improve on their dismal recent form.
