The 19-year-old made his debut in a Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie in October 2009 and has now penned a one-year contract with another year as an option.
He said: "I'm over the moon to sign another deal and I'm glad the gaffer has given me another opportunity to further my career.
"Hopefully I can play a few more games and keep working hard.
"The gaffer and the rest of the staff have been great to me."
