Summer signings Jamie Cureton and Jon Otsemobor were listed as among those who suffered bouts of vomitting and even less pleasant bodily movements after the club's annual pre-season get together. Young star Chris Martin, out-of-favour midfielder Andy Hughes and reserve teamer Matthew Halliday were also taken ill.
The Sun newspaper listed the players and included a gem of a quote from an unnamed player, who said "It's a bit unfortunate just a few days before the start of the season. I'm just glad I avoided the coleslaw."
