Norwich are believed to have joined the race to sign Northern Ireland hitman David Healy on loan.
Sheffield Wednesday have been paricularly strongly linked with the Manchester United-schooled ace, who has also played for Preston and Leeds. Now East Anglian rivals Norwich and Ipswich are said to be in for the 28-year-old, along with QPR, Watford and Charlton.
Healy had a previous loan spell at Carrow Road back in the 2002-2003 season, scoring twice in 13 games. Glenn Roeder is short of striking options with Jamie Cureton injured, but on-loan Manchester City forward Ched Evans seems perfectly capable of shouldering the goalscoring burden having smashed a brace in the Canaries' victory over Cardiff at the weekend.
