Norwich manager Paul Lambert was thrilled to see his team bounce back with victory over Middlesbrough after the midweek defeat to Crystal Palace. Simeon Jackson, a summer signing from Gillingham, scored the only goal of the game on the stroke of half-time at Carrow Road to move Norwich up to fourth place in the npower Championship. Lambert said,: "When you get beaten you've always got to do your best to win the next one and I thought the lads responded really well to that setback. "They've done that a lot since I've been here and I can't praise the lads high enough for the job they have done for me. "I decided to freshen it up a bit because I have been using the same group week-in, week-out for some time now and it was good to give people like Wes (Hoolahan) and Korey (Smith) a rest. "The lads who came in did a great job for me. It was an exceptional cross from Anthony McNamee for the goal and Grant (Holt) did well to pull the ball back for Simeon (Jackson) to score."
