Libbra leaves Carrow Road

The player, who arrived at Norwich on a free transfer in August 2001 after his former club Toulouse went into administration, has had his contract terminated although it still had another two years to run.

But as City manager Nigel Worthington told the club's official website: "After one season at Norwich, much to my disappointment, things have not worked out for Marc in the way that we would have hoped.

"We felt it was in the best interests of both parties to come to a mutual agreement to terminate his contract."
