Marshall will be looking to add to his two international caps but has to push himself ahead of Sunderlan's new £9million signing Craig Gordon as well as Ipswich's Neil Alexander and Rangers man Allan McGregor. It is the last chance to impress McLeish ahead of Eurpoean Championship Qualifiers against Lithuania and France in September.
The match will be played at Aberdeen's Pittodrie ground next Wednesday evening.
