Press speculation about Nigel Worthington's successor has seen another candidate apparently ruled out.
Former Rangers boss Alex McLeish, who had recieved a ringing endorsement from Norwich legend and former Aberdeen team mate Bryan Gunn, is the latest to be reported as out of the running.
McLeish follows Alan Curbishley out of the frame, with Southend boss Steve Tilson ruled out by his club's refusal to allow him to talk to the Canaries.
