More names linked by the Mirror-go-round

This morning's Daily Mirror, as most issues of late, has added new names to the exceedingly slow race to become Norwich manager.

Blackpool boss Simon Grayson is one of the more appealing names to have come up, while former Wycombe, Aston Villa, Derby and QPR boss John Gregory is exactly the sort of man the Canaries would do well to steer clear of.

Yesterday it was reported that Charlton assistant boss Phil Parkinson was being interviewed for the post. Having been a success at Colchester before failing in his big move to Hull City, Parkinson is keen to restore his managerial reputation.

Stoke's Tony Pulis continues to be linked, as do out-of-work former Leicester boss Martin Allen and Norway coach Aage Hareide. The need to get a new broom in became even more pressing last night as City slumped to another defeat, going two behind to Burnley in the opening four minutes of the Turf Moor clash before eventually succumbing 2-1.
