Norwich boss Peter Grant unveiled his seventh summer signing yesterday, and said that he is hoping to add another couple before the start of the season.
Grant added Chelsea youngster Jimmy Smith to his squad yesterday, beating off competition from Championship rivals QPR, Crystal Palace and Watford for the loan signing of the England under 19 international.
The strengthening won't stop there though, with former Liverpool, Coventry, Blackburn, Portsmouth, Wigan and Bolton midfielder David Thompson linked to a free transfer and Grant admitting that he wanted "one or two more - possibly a central midfielder".
West Ham bad boy Lee Bowyer has also been mooted as a signing, and City could definitely do with another defensive backup, but the squad is definitely taking shape prior to the opening match with Preston in August.
