Norwich welcome Arsenal to Carrow Road knowing that will need to be on red alert to contain Arsenal's stars, including an improving Gervinho.
Norwich goalkeeper John Ruddy claims their 1-1 draw against Liverpool on October 22, where he denied a rampant Luis Suarez a goal, gave them confidence they can defy their pre-season tags of being favourites for relegation.
"Luis Suarez was unbelievable that day, he really was. He was the best player I have ever played against," he said.
"A lot of the boys came off saying we knew he was good, but not that good. He gave us a torrid time, he was like a pitbull."It was nice to get a very good point up there, so you have to take that when it comes. We got a lot of belief from it."
Norwich manager Paul Lambert had said before the international break he was looking forward to some respite from their "relentless" start to the season.
He is also eager for his injury problems to subside, particularly in central defence.
Russell Martin remains a doubt after pulling out of Scotland's friendly against Cyprus with an ankle problem, while Elliott Ward and Zak Whitbread have been absent for much of the campaign.
"It's really tough, you look at the centre-back area and we've only got two plus Ritchie de Laet," Lambert said.
"Until we get those lads back fit we need everybody to perform regardless of who's playing and who's not."
Theo Walcott believes Gervinhos form is one of the reasons behind Arsenals dramatic change in fortunes.
Arsene Wengers side face Norwich at Carrow Road on Saturday knowing victory will confirm they are firmly back in the hunt for a top four finish.
An outstanding run of nine wins in eleven games in all competitions has silenced suggestions the manager's time at the Emirates Stadium could be drawing to a close.
And with five of those victories coming in the Premier League, the Gunners could move level on points with fourth placed Chelsea, 24 hours before Andre Villas-Boass team face Liverpool.
Robin van Persies scoring streak -- the Holland forward has scored 13 times already this season -- and Walcotts contribution from the right hand flank have stood out the teams revival.
But England international Walcott believes Gervinho deserves recognition for settling into life in the Premier League so quickly following his ?10.5 million move from Lille in July.
The Ivory Coast forward had a nightmare start when he was sent off in the season opener at Newcastle but has since recovered quickly from that blow.
"He's been fantastic this season," Walcott told arsenal.com.
"Obviously (English football) is totally different to what he's used to playing but now he is playing week in week out in the Premier League, which is very physical, and he is showing his qualities."He has still got a lot to learn and he knows that - but you can start to see that Gervinho is going to be the right type of player for Arsenal."
Van Persie this week hailed his on-field understanding with Walcott as the key to his remarkable goal run and the pair will again combine against Norwich.
But Walcott has warned his team-mates they can expect a tough time against the newly promoted side who with start the game in ninth spot, six points behind Arsenal, who expect to welcome back Marouane Chamakh and Kieran Gibbs into the squad.
"I'm not surprised by their start at all," Walcott added. "All the teams who come up tend to do well at the start of the season.
"They show tremendous spirit because they've got nothing to lose at times. Obviously they will be the underdogs going into the game but we can't take that for granted.
"It will be a tough game and they are playing well - especially at home at this moment in time. We have to be ready and on our game."
