Norwich City's top brass are waiting on the signature of youngster Rossi Jarvis as other clubs sniff around the highly-rated defender.
Charlton, Portsmouth and Crystal Palace were among the names linked to the 17-year-old, who has yet to start a first team match. Jarvis, younger brother of fellow City player Ryan, made his debut as a substitute in the Carling Cup defeat at Birmingham, and has featured in two Championship matches since.
Nigel Worthington is keen to keep Rossi, who was apparently offered a two year deal in the last fortnight. The manager and Chief Executive Neil Doncaster have publicly implored the Academy scholar to sign on and stick to what he knows best.
