Rigters signs for Rovers

Peter Grant was again left frustrated by Norwich's second level status as another player chose the bright lights of the Premiership.

Dutch Under-21 sensation Maceo Rigters' agent yesterday claimed the player would sign for either Celtic or Norwich, only for the NAC Breda forward to pitch up at Blackburn for a medical and sign a deal with Mark Hughes' side.

The Canaries will now turn their attention to securing the signings of Czech striker David Strahivka and long-term target David Marshall, the Celtic goalkeeper.
