Former Derby and Arsenal forward Arturo Lupoli's spell at Norwich could come to an end as reports have the player returning to his native Italy.
Lupoli joined the Canaries on a season-long loan in the summer but has failed to cement a place in Glenn Roeder's side either up front, where he has been usurped by fellow loanee Leroy Lita, or on the left wing where Wes Hoolahan, David Bell and Matty Pattison have been preferred.
Southampton and Sampdoria have been linked with the highly-rated Italian, but whether or not Roeder can expect any sort of refund for his unused half-season may be the deciding factor in whether to release a body from an already thin squad.
