Safri 'expected to join Baggies in next few days'

The Birmingham Mail is again reporting that Youssef Safri's move from Norwich City to West Bromwich Albion is all but completed.

Tony Mowbray is taking his side to Croatia and Slovenia as part of their pre-season preparations, and the local newspaper believes that Moroccan international Safri could be on board at the Hawthorns in time to play a part.

There has been no word from Carrow Road on the player's future, unlike when teammate Dickson Etuhu was linked to Derby, a rumour met with a firm expression of intent to keep the former Preston man.
