Scunny deny Sharp deal done

With the disappointment of reading the words of Sheffield United Chairman Terry Robinson relating to the capture of Billy Sharp still fresh, Scunthorpe have given new hope to supporters of Wolves and Norwich in particular.

The Iron website carries a statement from Jamie Hammond, the General Manager, that while several clubs have been given permission to speak to Sharp, the Blades have not even made an offer.
