Exclusive - A whole host of Premier League clubs have lodged their interest in Roma starlet Ebrima Darboe having been made aware that he could be available this summer.
The 19-year-old has enjoyed something of a breakthrough campaign this season, making both his Serie A debut and his Europa League debut.
Despite having only recently been promoted to the Roma first team, 90min understands his performances have been enough to attract the interest of a number of Premier League clubs with his future in Italy far from certain.
Recently appointed Roma boss Jose Mourinho is keen to add some experience to his midfield - with Nemanja Matic already linked with a move to the club - meaning Darboe is unlikely to be afforded the first-team football he wants and could look for a move away.
Should this prove to be the case he'll have no shortage of potential suitors, with West Ham, Brighton, Crystal Palace, Southampton and newly promoted Norwich all keen to secure his services.
Interest in the youngster doesn't stop there, as Manchester United, Liverpool and Premier League champions Manchester City are also monitoring his progress.
However, Darboe has told his representatives that he wants to be playing regular football next season and he's aware a move to the aforementioned Champions League clubs may not provide him with that opportunity.
The interested parties believe the 19-year-old would be perfectly suited to the Premier League and depending on Roma's summer transfer business we could soon see him arrive in England.
Darboe has enjoyed a remarkable rise to success having originally arrived in Italy as an immigrant without his parents. Two years after arriving in Italy he was spotted by Roma and having graduated from their youth setup he went on to make his debut against Manchester United earlier this year.
