Glenn Roeder could be set to renew his interest in Coventry forward Michael Mifsud should his bid for Leroy Lita fail.
Maltese International Mifsud saw a £1.5million summer move to Bristol City collapse and could now be available for a cut-price £750,000.
Norwich are believed to be prioritising making Reading striker Lita, who has hit four goals in his last two games, a more long-term fixture at Carrow Road. His current loan deal ends this month and a permanent transfer is likely to cost in excess of £2million and be complicated by interest from the Premier League, with West Bromwich Albion in particular said to be considering a bid.
Mifsud is currently in the Coventry side despite having a porr relationship with Sky Blues boss Chris Coleman. At one stage last season, 'the flea' was valued at around £5million to ward off the vultures.
