The Canaries' assistant manager has had a number of clubs including Swansea, Tottenham, Liverpool and Nottingham Forest and in his opinion Norwich's team spirit is the best out of the lot.
"We've got a good squad here and there's a fantastic spirit in the camp," said Livermore, hosting this morning's Colney Press conference as Worthington fought against the winter weather from his North Norfolk home.
Livermore was also quick to praise the job Worthington had done within his 3 years in charge at Carrow Road.
"I would say that the team spirit we've got in the club, in the dressing room and among the staff is up there with the very best I've known," said Livermore. "It's absolutely fantastic and that's down to Nigel for creating that. It does take time. He's been in charge here now for three years and he's stamped his authority on the football club, especially at this end of it."
Following Sheffield United's surprise defeat at the hands of Derby last night, Livermore admitted it was a good result for Norwich although it would have no relation to Saturday's game at Carrow Road.
"It's a good result for us, obviously," said Livermore. "But as Nigel will say, as I will say and as everyone will say it's up to us — it's not about what anyone else does."
On the fitness of Matthias Svensson Livermore brought good news by revealing the former Charlton striker is well on the road to recovery.
"Svensson is available for full training today but that won't happen because of the weather conditions," said Livermore, with the first-team squad taking advantage of the indoor arena at Colney today.
"We'll just see how he reacts to training tomorrow as to whether he's available for Saturday," added Livermore.
Players unavailable for the visit of Sheffield United include Mark Rivers and Ryan Jarvis. Rivers suffered a thigh injury in last week's reserve match, whereas Jarvis should be available again in a couple of weeks.
It was a fantastic result for Norwich last night as Sheffield United lost 2-0 to Derby. If they had won they would have only been a point away from Norwich. Instead they find themselves 4 points behind and even if they do beat us on Saturday we will remain in the top two. If we win on the other hand......7 points clear from 3rd spot.......that will do for now.
On the ball.....
