England Under-19 forward Ryan Jarvis is in contention for a starting place at Loftus Road after impressing as a substitute at Luton.
One of the bright points of a miserable 4-2 defeat was the performance of Jarvis after replacing Paul McVeigh at the break. Jarvis capped a lively display with a well taken goal, his first since a spectacular strike at home to Liverpool in January.
Ryan, whose younger brother Rossi was also among the substitutes on Tuesday but failed to make his debut, is in the final year of his contract and the Fakenham academy graduate has been challenged by manager Nigel Worthington to "make his mark".
If the Jarvis brothers both play on Saturday, they will become the first siblings to turn out together for the Canaries since Arthur and Reginald Cropper in February 1928.
