The Canaries may have been unlucky to take only a point on Boxing Day but in this game a point was more than fair from a game dominated by Wolves.
The visitors kicked off attacking the River End goal and immediately put Norwich under intense pressure.
It was 12 minutes before the home side posed any sort of threat with Darren Huckerby and Ched Evans putting in a couple of dangerous crosses to give the home fans something to cheer.
However, the visitors continued to dominate the midfield without testing David Marshall until the 34th minute when the City keeper pulled off a reflex save to keep out a snap-shot from Neill Collins.
Seven minutes into the second half, Michael Gray crossed from the left wing and Andy Keogh leapt between Jason Shackell and Mo Camara to steer his header past Marshall at the near post.
To their credit the City fans got behind their team and Jamie Cureton delivered the perfect cross with no-one on hand to finish the move.
At the other end Stephen Ward was only inches away from making the game safe with a fierce shot.
Substitute Dion Dublin produced the home side's first shot on target after 72 minutes but Wayne Hennessey made a good save.
But three minutes later Norwich drew level when Dublin found Cureton who beat Hennessey low to his right with an angled 12-yard right-foot shot.
Cureton was only inches away four minutes later with what looked like an easier chance to score.
Hennessey saved free-kicks from Matty Pattison and Camara but, as the game moved into stoppage time, Wolves might easily have snatched a winner if Marshall had not saved Jay Bothroyd's close-range shot.
